Chef Tim's Pittsburgh-Style Salad served with Char-grilled Red Skin Potato
Wonderful Pittsburgh Style Steak Salad
utilizing both Chef Tim's Sweet Balsamic Vinaigrette, and Savory Steak &
All Purpose Seasoning, with my personal twist on the potato.
Ingredients:
- Steak
- I prefer New York Strip Steak (around 12 to 20 oz depending on your love
of beef)
- 6oz Chef Tim's Sweet Balsamic Vinaigrette
- Mesclun
Greens (8oz)
- Feta
Cheese(6oz crumbles)
- Shredded
Carrots (1 large carrot)
- Roma
tomatoes, medium cubed (1 cup or 2 large tomatoes)
- 1
Cucumber, peeled, deseeded and cut into 1/4' half moon.
- Ceasar
Croutons (around a cup)
- Char-grilled
Seasoned Red Skin Potatoes (slice 1/4 inch, toss in Extra Virgin olive oil
& Chef Tim's Savory Steak Seasoning) (4 Large Red Skin Potatoes)
- 3
tsp Chef Tim's Savory Steak Seasoning (1/2 for steak, 1/2 for potatoes)
- Olive
Oil
Directions:
Potatoes: Slice Red Skin Potato 1/4
inch, toss in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Chef Tim's Savory Steak
Seasoning. Char-grill on a 400 degree grill for approx. 3 minutes on each
side(or until tender).
Steak: Season with Chef Tim's Savory
Steak Seasoning. Char-grill on a 400 degree grill for approx. 6 minutes
on each side(or until medium rare).
